The client
Edward Rilke is an artist who works in digital art. He needed a personal site to present his works and his digital pieces in one place, under his own name, without depending only on social networks or marketplaces where the work is mixed with everyone else’s.
What I built
I built a clean WordPress site where the artworks carry the page.
- Minimal design on a standard WordPress theme from the Twenty series, with large images and little decoration around them.
- Quick new entries: the Duplicate Post plugin lets a new artwork page start from an existing one, with the same layout and fields already in place.
- Spam protection on contact and comments through Akismet.
- Easy to keep running: only a few plugins, so updates stay simple and there is little that can break.
Built with
WordPress, Twenty Fifteen, Twenty Sixteen and Twenty Seventeen themes available, Duplicate Post, Akismet.
