The client
Veneziani Gioielli is a jewellery and watch shop in the Metropolis shopping centre in Rende, near Cosenza. It carries brands such as Casio, Citizen, Breil, Morellato, Liu Jo and Cesare Paciotti, and wanted to show that range online and start selling it.
What I built
I built the shop’s WordPress site with WooCommerce, then a second, larger version on a staging address.
- Brand showcase — logos of the watch and jewellery brands the shop carries, with photos of the store.
- Catalogue and cart — WooCommerce with slider banners and a map to find the shop.
- Multilingual store — in the second version, WPML for translated pages, products, menus, media and forms.
- Shipping and checkout rules — table-rate and cart-based shipping, minimum and maximum order quantities, and payment methods limited by country.
- Shop SEO — Yoast WooCommerce SEO for the product pages.
Built with
WordPress and WooCommerce. The live site uses The Luxury theme with Master Slider and a Google map plugin; the second version uses the VG Optima multi-store theme with WPML.
