The problem
A restaurant changes its menu constantly: a dish runs out, a price moves, the specials change with the season. If the menu is a PDF, every change means going back to whoever made it, and the version on the website stays wrong for weeks.
What I built
A menu management platform that puts the restaurant in control: the owner signs in, changes a price or marks a dish unavailable, and the published menu updates immediately — no designer, no developer, no new PDF. Each restaurant manages its own menu in its own account.
Built with
A custom web application with its own accounts and sign-up, released in versions and still being extended.
Why it was done this way
The whole product rests on one decision: the person who knows the menu has to be the person who edits it. Any design that keeps a professional in the loop for changing a price will be abandoned within a month, because the change needs making at seven in the evening, not when the supplier replies.
